MANILA, Philippines (2nd UPDATE) – Quezon City students won’t be going to school on Monday, July 27, the day President Benigno Aquino II delivers his 6th and last State of the Nation Address (SONA) at the Batasan compound.
According to the Quezon City local government’s social media accounts, classes in all levels are suspended on Monday in anticipation of the heavy traffic in areas surrounding the House of Representatives.
The suspension covers all private and public schools, including their evening classes.
