In apparent reference to the bloody Mamasapano incident that resulted in the death of 44 elite cops, Palace Communications Secretary Herminio Coloma Jr said the President is ready to face the “consequences of his actions” after he leaves office in 2016. President Benigno Aquino III, according to Coloma, is firm that all his actions are right and constitutional. Before Aquino, former presidents Joseph Estrada and Gloria Macapagal Arroyo were detained, both for plunder charges.
