Promises broken, promises kept: Aquino’s social pact

In his 2010 campaign, President Benigno Aquino III made a 16-point social pact with the Filipino people, which eventually became the cornerstone of his administration.

Rappler divided the 16 points of his Social Contract with the Filipino People into 7 clusters – Corruption, Economy, Poverty, Justice, Overseas Filipino Workers, Peace and Order, and Environment.
