At least 15 people were killed and 46 others were injured when a female bomber blew herself up July 26 in a public market in northeast Nigeria. The militant Islamic group Boko Haram is active in the region and has used female bombers in past operations, CNN reported. Also on July 26, at least 20 people were killed in a suicide bomb attack carried out by a child on a bar in Maroua in the far north of Cameroon.
