MANILA, Philippines – July 27 was President Benigno Aquino III’s last State of the Nation Address (SONA). It lasted 2 hours and 10 minutes, but according to netizens, many expectations were still not met.
The “bosses” were tuned in to his last accomplishment report. According to Rappler’s social listening tool Reach, #SONA2015 collected over 2 million impressions with tweets coming from over 25,000 unique users from 4:00 pm, when the speech started, to 7:00 pm, a few moments after the speech.
The biggest reactions from the crowd came after the following happened during the speech:

Parody Twitter account @iamnancybinay caught the attention of hundreds of netizens when she tweeted her annoyance.

And then when a few members of the audience booed right after he delivered his speech.

The speech mentioned a summary of his accomplishments and his plans for the last year of his term. But according to some netizens, he failed to mention or expound on a couple of very vital issues.
The most glaring issues that people were looking for were the Mamasapano Clash, the Freedom of Information (FOI) Bill, and the West Philippine Sea dispute with China.
