Palace: No classes in flood-hit areas Thursday

The Palace suspends classes in all levels in Metro Manila and flood-hit provinces in Luzon

MANILA, Philippines – Malacañang announced the suspension of classes in flood-hit areas on Thursday, August 9. 

In a memorandum released Wednesday night, August 8, Executive Secretary Paquito “Jojo” Ochoa Jr said classes are suspending in all levels, including post-graduate courses, in the following areas:

 

  • National Capital Region
  • Zambales
  • Bataan
  • Pampanga
  • Pangasinan
  • Tarlac
  • Bulacan
  • Laguna
  • Cavite
  • Rizal

 

The Palace said there will be work in government and private offices on Thursday.
