Fajarito said the suspect didn’t report for workthe next day, which led authorities to believe that Navarro was involved in the pawnshop heist.
He said the suspect’s girlfriend informed the police about his whereabouts, which led to his arrest on Thursday night.
Fajarito said that stolen jewelry had been recovered from the suspect’s aunt while only P70,000 ($1,515.97) of the P160,000 cash was recovered from the girlfriend.
