Auctioneers Sotheby’s said on Thursday, August 27, the piano that was used to record many of ABBA’s greatest hits is now being sold. The instrument, being sold by Atlantis Grammofon, formerly the Metronome Studios which first bought it in 1967, is expected to fetch between $925,000 to $1.24 million when it’s offered for sale on September 29. ABBA’s “Dancing Queen” is among the most distinctive sounds of the 1970s disco scene.
