Senator Grace Poe’s chief of staff responded to allegations Poe violated the anti-graft law for supporting the Iglesia ni Cristo while it was protesting. Lawyer Nelson Victorino said Poe only recognized INC’s freedom of expression and did not ask Justice Secretary Leila De Lima to stop the investigation. Poe earlier said “Maybe it would be best if Secretary De Lima faces them and explain why the situation is happening.”
