Vice President Jejomar Binay on Thursday, September 3, told businessmen that if he wins as president in the May 2016 elections his governance will be anchored on “competence, inclusiveness, and compassion.” He also said he intends to do away with practices under the Aquino administration that were not business-friendly. Among other policies, the standard-bearer of the opposition United Nationalist Alliance also said he will see to it that economic growth trickles down to the poor and that the current public-private partnership program continues.
