MANILA, Philippines – (UPDATED) Operations at the MRT 3 Taft station were put on hold momentarily Thursday afternoon, August 16, because of a shooting incident at the MetroPoint Mall in Pasay City involving a robber.
Regular operations resumed 30 minutes after.
The information came through a tweet by LRT/MRT spokesperson Hernando Cabrera and the Metro Manila Development Authority:
MRT3 Taft Station operation suspended due to shooting incident inside MetroPoint Mall. LRT1 EDSA Station secured and operating.
