A video showing young Filipinos learning about the atrocities committed during the martial law period has gone viral. The video was released by the Campaign Against the Return of the Marcoses to Malacañang (Carmma), a group opposing the vice presidential bid of Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. The young interviewees initially described martial law in glowing terms, saying it was a time of prosperity and discipline. But they were left stunned after the interviewers recounted their experiences as human rights victims during the Marcos regime.
