According to a police report, Jones town municipal administrator Noimi Guerrero, 55, had just arrived from work past 5 pm on Thursday, and was talking to his tenant, when he was shot by a still unidentified man.

A motorcyle rider fetched the assailant and the tandem was seen heading to San Vicente village.

Despite being shot several times, Guerrero managed to bring himself to a community hospital. He was transferred to the Isabela South District Hospital but was pronounced dead at around 7 pm.

Crime investigators recovered several bullet shells for caliber .45 in the crime scene.

Authorities are now on a manhunt operation against the suspects.

Guerrero is the latest casualty in the town since the election period.
