Bong Revilla undergoes more tests Sunday
The detained politician is scheduled to undergo blood chemistry tests, gastroscopy, treadmill stress test, and a pulmonary function test, according to a police update

MANILA, Philippines – Former Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr is scheduled to undergo more tests on Sunday, November 6, a day after he was rushed to the hospital because of vomiting, severe headache, and hypertension.

He is scheduled to undergo blood chemistry tests, gastroscopy, treadmill stress test, and a pulmonary function test, according to a police update.

“Former senator Ramon Revilla Jr is still confined at Saint Luke’s Medical Center in Bonifacio Global Center, Taguig City. He is accompanied by his wife Mayor Lani Mercado-Revilla,” according to the update.

The detained movie-actor-turned-politician was rushed Saturday morning, November 5, to the PNP General Hospital located inside the police headquarters where he is detained for plunder and graft charges in connection with a multi-billion-peso pork barrel scam, the Philippines’ biggest corruption scandal in recent history.

He was later moved to the private hospital.

Revilla is accused of participating in a years-long scam in which many politicians allegedly embezzled hundreds of millions of dollars that should have been spent on development projects. (READ: Bong Revilla’s biggest battle) – Rappler.com
