Quezon City, the most populated area in Metro Manila, spent P768.306 million on garbage disposal in 2015 from P1.014 billion in 2014 – a difference of P245.89 million or a 24.2% drop in expenses.

Garbage hauling expenses fall under LGUs’ maintenance and other operating expenses (MOOE) as “environment/sanitary services.”
