MANILA, Philippines – The anniversary of the 1986 EDSA revolution, which falls on Saturday, February 25, is a special holiday for all schools.
This is based on Proclamation No. 296, which sets the regular holidays, special (non-working) days, and special holiday for 2012.
The February 25 special holiday means there will be no classes in all schools, but work continues normally in public and private offices nationwide.
The next major holiday, as per Proclamation No. 296, will be Maundy Thursday, April 5. – Rappler.com
