Most wanted MNLF member arrested in Basilan
ISABELA CITY, Philippines – The most wanted Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) member in Basilan province was arrested in Barangay Bohe Baka. Tipo-Tipo on Tuesday afternoon, September 5.
Police Superintendent Christopher Panapan, officer-in-charge of the Basilan Provincial Police Office, identified the arrested MNLF member as Boy Hamja. Hamja was arrested at 5 pm.
Panapan said personnel of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit arrested Hamja by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 2, for the following crimes: murder, robbery in band, extortion, and drug trade.
Panapan said recovered from Hamja were a sachet of shabu and personal belongings. – Rappler.com
