MANILA, Philippines ­– Tropical Storm Maring (Doksuri), which is already on its way out of the country, left 5 people dead and 6 others missing.

One died in Lucena City, Quezon; two in Taytay, Rizal; one in Pasay City; and one in Silang, Cavite, after Maring hit land as a tropical depression.

The 6 missing persons are all from Laguna, according to National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) spokesperson Mina Marasigan.

There are also 4 injured due to Maring, Marasigan said in a press briefing on Wednesday, September 13.
