“It is their civic duty to help seek justice for Atio Castillo and help US and Philippie law enforcement authorities find the suspect, Ralph Trangia, who first flew to Taiwan and then to Chicago,” said Dy in a statement.
The lawmaker also called on the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs to cancel the passports of all the suspects behind Castillo’s killing.
“The movements of these suspects in the tortuous hazing of Castillo must be severely curtailed so that they can be found and arrested. They must not be allowed to elude arrest and prosecution to the fullest extent of our laws,” said Dy.
On Friday, John Paul Solano, the primary suspect in Castillo’s death, surrendered to Senator Panfilo Lacson.
