MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – The Iloilo International Airport reopened Monday afternoon, October 16, after a stalled Cebu Pacific plane was towed away from the airport’s runway.
The aircraft veered off the runway and got stuck in the mud late Friday, October 13.
Cebu Pacific said that the aircraft was removed from the mud late morning on Monday.
The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) earlier extended the airport’s runway closure until 12 noon Monday.
With the resumption of operations at Iloilo International Airport, Cebu Pacific has rescheduled the following flights to and from the airport have been rescheduled.

Cebu Pacific advised affected passengers to contact the airline for further inquiries or concerns.
Philippine Airlines, which also flies to and from Iloilo, also advises its passengers that those affected by the flight cancellations to and from Iloilo from October 14 to 16 can rebook, refund, or reroute their tickets. – Rappler.com
