DAVAO CITY, Philippines – At least 106 people were apprehended in Davao City during the New Year’s Eve celebrations for violating the city’s firecracker ban.
Davao City Police Office chief Sr Supt Ronald dela Rosa said more than 1000 police officers were deployed on Monday afternoon, December 31, on a covert operation to arrest violators.
