The Golden State Warriors on Wednesday, June 6 (Thursday, June 7 in Manila), rallied past the Cleveland Cavaliers, 110-102, during Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

In local news, police confirmed to Rappler that Laoag City Vice Mayor Michael Fariñas died in a car crash on Wednesday. 

“You win because you hurt me, and I think that’s what you wanted to do,” Kris Aquino told Presidential Communications Operations Office assistant secretary Mocha Uson, after the latter refused to apologize over a Facebook post which had “hurt” Aquino.

According to Laoag City police chief Dominic Guerrero, the vice mayor died in a crash along Bypass Road as he was going home between 4:45 pm and 6 pm on Wednesday.

She also addressed presidential aide Bong Go, saying that only he had the power to grant her request, but Aquino did not specify exactly what it was that she asked of Go.

Kate Spade suffered from mental illness for years – sister

Tropical Depression Domeng slightly strengthens

Domeng now has maximum winds of 55 km/h from the previous 45 km/h and gustiness of up to 65 km/h from the previous 60 km/h. PAGASA warned that it could intensify further into a tropical storm.
