MANILA, Philippines – Classes were suspended in various areas for Monday, June 11, as the southwest monsoon brought even more heavy rain to Luzon and Western Visayas.

Malacañang on Monday afternoon issued Memorandum Circular (MC) 46, covering only Metro Manila, which suspended work in the executive department and classes in all levels starting 3 pm.

“Agencies of the government involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness, and other vital services shall continue with their operations,” said the office of Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea.

“We leave the suspension of work for private companies and offices to the sound discretion of their companies or employers.”

Here is the list of areas where classes have been suspended.
