MANILA, Philippines – Here is a list of areas where classes have been suspended for Friday, August 17, as some areas are still dealing with the effects of flooding from heavy monsoon rain.

Metro Manila

• Malabon City – only schools in Barangay Dampalit (public and private)
• Marikina City – all levels (public and private)
• Valenzuela City – select day care centers and schools only
• day care centers: Balangkas, Coloong, Dalandanan II (Esteban South), Dalandanan III (Esteban North), Isla, Mabolo, Palasan, Polo
• schools: Pio Valenzuela ES, Coloong Es, Isla ES, A Deato ES, Wawang Pulo ES, Polo NHS, Wawang Pulo NHS

Calabarzon

• San Mateo, Rizal – preschool to senior high school (public and private)

Central Luzon

• Calumpit, Bulacan – all levels (public and private)
• Hagonoy, Bulacan – all levels (public and private)
• Apalit, Pampanga – Paligui ES, Sampaloc ES, Sampaga ES and HS, Fausto Gonzales Sioco Memorial ES (Colgante)
• Guagua, Pampanga – Sta Filomena, San Rafael, San Pedro, Bancal, Sta Ines, San Agustin, Sta Ursula, GD Mendoza High School
• Macabebe, Pampanga – all levels (public and private)
• Masantol, Pampanga – all levels (public and private)
• San Luis, Pampanga – select barangays (public and private)
• barangays of San Juan, San Nicolas, Sta Monica, Sta Cruz Poblacion, Sto Tomas, Sto Rosario, Sta Cruz Pambilog
• San Simon, Pampanga – select barangays (public only)
• barangays of Dela Paz, San Agustin, San Isidro, San Juan, San Miguel, San Nicolas, San Pablo, San Pedro, Sta Cruz
