Technology is changing faster than practitioners and business models can adapt.  A recently released Pew research study shows digital gains still can’t make up from print losses for newspapers: for every $1 gained in digital, $7 is lost in print.

In television broadcasting, ASEAN agreed it would switch to digital broadcasts in 2015, but it’s still unclear whether the Philippines would follow Japanese or European technology.
