Obama, Netanyahu push for peace


Amid the threat of Iran developing a nuclear bomb, US President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu both pressed for diplomatic solutions to the problem during a meeting at the oval office Tuesday, March 6. While they agreed on diplomacy Netenyahu however stressed Israel’s right to defend itself. Israel is still considering whether or not it should launch a pre-emptive strike against Iran, Obama aims to keep Israel from doing so.
