9-car pile-up stalls traffic at NLEX
MANILA, Philippines - (UPDATED) Traffic at the northbound side of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) was brought to a crawling pace after 9 vehicles collided with each other at about 12:57 pm Saturday, February 23.
Cris Natividad of NLEX's operations department said the accident occurred before the San Fernando exit. The 9 vehicles involved included 5 sedans and 3 SUVs.
As of 3:05 pm, towing trucks were reported on their way to start clearing operations in the area.
Natividad said investigations to determine the cause of accident are still ongoing.
