HSBC Philippines denied a Financial Times Report that HSBC would be pulling out its business in the Philippines along with 5 other markets including Bangladesh, Brunei, Macau, News Zealand, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. HSBC Philippines Spokesperson Johanna Garcia called the report “speculative” and denied that HSBC would be exiting any market in Asia.
