Quake, with focus at depth of 1 km from Earth's surface, shook the Summer Capital at 3:31 pm
MANILA, Philippines – A shallow, magnitude 3.4 earthquake hit near Baguio City on Thursday, March 29, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) confirmed.
The quake’s epicenter was located 8 kilometers south of Baguio City, with the focus at a depth of 1 km.
Intensity III was felt in the city, with numerous people tweeting they felt the quake, which struck at 3:31 pm.
The Phivolcs said they do not expect damage nor aftershocks from the tremor, which was of tectonic origin. – Rappler.com
