MANILA, Philippines (2nd UPDATE) – A magnitude 5.2 earthquake shook parts of central and southern Mindanao Monday morning, July 15.

The quake, which hit at 9:28 am, was centered 7 kilometers northeast of Carmen, North Cotabato (07.21°N, 124.86), with a depth of focus at just 4 km, state seismological bureau Phivolcs said in its initial bulletin.
