MANILA, Philippines – The España side of the University of Santo Tomas will be closed to traffic on the remaining Sundays of the month for this year’s Bar examination.

In a tweet, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said on Sunday, October 13, it will close to traffic the westbound of España Street from Lacson Street to P. Noval Street from 8am onwards.

On the first day of the Bar exams on October 6, the said street was open to vehicular traffic, except from 10:30 am to 1 pm during the examinees’ lunch break.

The change in traffic route was implemented as possible traffic buildup is expected near the university.

Some 5,593 Law graduates are taking the Bar exams this year at UST, which will run in all Sundays of the month. – Rappler.com
