Alleged pork barrel scam mastermind Janet Lim Napoles is scheduled to appear at the Senate blue ribbon committee on Thursday, November 7, and one of the senators linked to her warns the public not to expect much. Napoles will invoke her right to remain silent, according to Senator Jinggoy Estrada, who is one of 3 senators facing a plunder complaint before the Ombudsman. Senator Serge Osmeña is asking for a postponement of the hearing, saying many senators would still be on break on Thursday. If it pushes through, the hearing would be held sans Napoles’ famous lawyer, Lorna Kapunan, who withdrew her services last week.
