During the launch of the government's disaster prevention website, its mobile mobile version is hacked and leads to porn sites. It has been fixed.

HACKED: The OCD's Project DINA led to porn sites during its launch

MANILA, Philippines – The Office of Civil Defense (OCD) definitely wanted to get a lot of attention for the launch of Project DINA, its Disaster Information for Nationwide Awareness website.

But DINA got a little too sexy during its launch on Wednesday, November 6. To the amusement of journalists covering the launch, the web site link led them to different porn sites.

The mobile version of Project DINA was hacked, Civil Defense administrator Undersecretary Eduardo del Rosario would later explain.

But check it on your desktop and the web site and it will load without a hitch.

It’s the flagship project of OCD, the operating arm of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).

But Project DINA is better than porn sites. It may save your life.

The web site has informative videos showcasing simple but lifesaving reminders on what should be done before, during, and after disasters.

There are 8 separate videos discussing how to mitigate the effects of earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, landslides, tropical cyclones, floods, and fires. An 8th video discusses the importance of preparing emergency kits. Each video is 6 to 8 minutes long.

Defense Secretary Voltaire Gazmin said the videos will be shown in cinemas, bus televisions, train stations, inter-island vessels, schools, government and private offices and establishments. – Rappler.com
