MANILA, Philipines – Seriously injured passengers of the ill-fated Florida bus that fell into a ravine in Bontoc, Mountain Province, on Friday, February 7, were finally evacuated to nearby hospitals. (READ: 14 dead in Mt Province bus accident)

“The Philippine Air Force choppers began evacuation of seriously injured patients. The first shuttle was airborne at 9 am [Saturday, February 8] and the second shuttle left at 1050 am,” according to Army Major Emmanuel Bautista of the Northern Luzon Command 1st Civil Relations Group.
