Carmen Basa: Statements by Corona are false

MANILA, Philiipines – In a press conference after the adjournment of day 41 of the Corona Trial, The Basa family tells the public that statements made by Chief Justice Renato Corona during day 40 of the trial are false.

Carmen Basa says their father was never unemployed and that he was an honorable man who believed in the justice system.

The Basa family then answered questions from the media after delivering their statement in reaction to the one made by the Chief Justice. Watch it here:
