Rescuers Monday night were still searching for survivors who may be trapped inside jeepneys that were passing by when the building collapsed
MANILA, Philippines – At least 3 people died in Masambong, Quezon City, after the wall of an old warehouse collapsed at around 9 pm on Monday, May 19, the Inquirer reported.
Several jeepneys were reportedly damaged and trapped by the collapsed wall. Search and rescue operations are underway for possible survivors who may be trapped inside the jeepneys.
The Quezon City police department has yet to determine the cause of the collapse. – with reports from Jose Del/Rappler.com
