DAVAO CITY, Philippines– At least 4 people were killed and 29 others were wounded in two separate vehicular accidents in Davao City on Sunday evening, May 25.
The first incident occurred at the Bukidnon-Davao Road in Marilog District at around 6:08 pm involving multiple vehicles.
At least 3 people died on the spot while 7 are in critical condition.
Initial reports identified 19 others who are in stable condition. They had to be transported to the nearest hospital, local authorities said.
Minutes after, another vehicular accident happened in Panacan, leaving one person dead.
Another person is in critical condition, while two others are already in stable condition.
The local government earlier expressed its alarm over the recent vehicular accidents in the city despite an enforced speed limit. – Rappler.com
