
Close to 4 hours after he arrived at the Philippine National Police headquarters a little past noon on Monday, June 23, Senator Jinggoy Estrada was committed to the Camp Crame custodial center. He went through a “booking process” that included medical exams, fingerprinting and taking of mugshots. It took all of 10-15 minutes, his staff said. Estrada turned himself in to his father, former president Joseph Estrada, now mayor of Manila, before surrendering at Camp Crame.
