MANILA, Philippines – A train of the Philippine National Railways (PNR) derailed in Manila on Monday, August 25, but no injuries were reported.
The train, going southbound and traversing the line between Sta Mesa and España stations, when the last coach derailed near Altura Street at around 9:30 am.
The coach remained upright, and no injuries were reported. PNR staff immediately worked on freeing the stalled train.
Operations of the PNR line continued, ABS-CBN reported, with the trains passing through the area routed to the northbound tracks to bypass the stalled train. – Rappler.com
