WBO will review Bradley victory

The World Boxing Organization (WBO) will review the controversial decision on the fight between Timothy Bradley and defeated WBO welterweight world champion Manny Pacquiao. WBO president Francisco “Paco” Valcarcel said the body’s championship committee would review the fight to “take measures in accordance with the rules of procedure.” The committee, with the help of 5 “recognized international judges,” will meet soon and evaluate video of the fight then make a recommendation to the WBO. Only one judge scored in favor of Pacquiao at 115-113, while the two scored for Bradley, despite more damaging blows being landed by Pacquiao. Promoter Bob Arum questioned the competence of the judges.
