Tweet photos of anything you want to #ShowThePope – from selfies to tourist sites to images of poverty – as Pope Francis is set to visit the Philippines
MANILA, Philippines – Filipino children smiling despite poverty. The devotion to the Black Nazarene. A rally staged by gay rights activists. And even “how amazing my mom is.”
Filipino Twitter users sent photos of these – and more – as Rappler launched #ShowThePope, its major crowdsourcing project for Pope Francis’ trip to the Philippines in January 2015.
From selfies to tourist sites to images of poverty, what do you want to #ShowThePope?
Send us your photos using the hashtag #ShowThePope, and we’ll include these in a gallery that Rappler will send to the Vatican. We will also use the best photos in our stories.
