Sack Bacoor cops for drugs, says PNP boss
4 policemen from the Bacoor City police office are caught in a drug bust by Cavite police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency

MANILA, Philippines – Lock them up and throw away the key.

Philippine National Police (PNP) Office-in-Charge (OIC) Police Deputy Director General Leonardo Espina on Thursday, January 8, ordered the dismissal of 4 Bacoor City policemen after they were arrested in an anti-illegal drugs operation.

“See to it that they do not go out of jail anymore,” Espina said of the 4, who are undergoing pre-charge investigation.

In a statement, the PNP said Espina ordered the head of the Region 4A police, Chief Superintendent Jesus Gatchalian to “file all necessary administrative and criminal cases” against the following cops:

  • Police Officer 3 Paul Barriosa Santoeli
  • Police Officer 3 Jay Salondro Ilagan 
  • Police Officer 1 Joeyluz Guiruela Pulusan 
  • Police Officer 1 Roger Uy Reble

The 4 members of Bacoor City’s second precinct were caught during a Wednesday, January 7 operation led by Cavite provincial police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.

During the operation, authorities retrieved nine (9) pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing the illegal drug shabu, three (3) Glock 9mm pistols, and an M-16 rifle. – Rappler.com
