Phivolcs expects damages and aftershocks

MANILA, Philippines – A magnitude 6.3 tremor hit Catanduanes Monday night, February 2, state volcanologists said.  

The intensity III earthquake hit 92 kilometers northeast of Virac, Catanduanes (14.23°N, 124.76°E) at 11:13 pm, Phivolcs said in a bulletin

There were no immediate reports but Phivolcs said damages are to be expected.

Phivolcs also warned of possible aftershocks. – Rappler.com
