
OLONGAPO CITY, Philippines – The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) announced that parts of Olongapo City will experience 5 hours of power interruption on Sunday, June 7.
Ernest Lorenz Vidal, corporate communication and public affairs officer of NGCP Central Luzon, said the power outage will facilitate both the annual preventive maintenance of 230kVbus at the Olongapo substation and transmission line maintenance along the Olongapo-Calapacuan 69kVLine segment.
Ramon Magsaysay Drive and the following barangays will have no electricity from 8 am to 1 pm Sunday:
- Barreto
- Kalaklan
- Mabayuan
- Gordon Heights
- Santa Rita
- West Bajac-bajac
- East Bajac-bajac
- Ilalim
- Asinan
- Banicain
- Pag-asa
- Kalalake
- Kababae
- Old Cabalan
- New Cabalan
- East Tapinac
- West Tapinac
Normal operations will immediately resume after work completion. NGCP’s customers and the general public are advised to take the necessary preparations and precautions for this scheduled interruption. – Rappler.com
