Philippine airports have bad – and good – news for you

The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) remains to be one of the high-risk airports in the Asia-Pacific, according to a paper published by the International Air Transport Association. The problems include non-standard air traffic control procedures, holding and delays. But NAIA-3 is at least being refurbished with the launch of Singapore Airlines’ SilverKris lounge, the first in Southeast Asia. The new lounge is only the fourth of its kind in the world and the first in Southeast Asia, beating even Singapore to the punch.
