Victoria court motel chain owner dies in helicopter crash

The owner of the Victoria Court motel chain, Archimedes “Archie” King was killed after the private helicopter he was using crashed in Barangay Pinagkaisahan, Cuenca, Batangas on Sunday, July 5. The pilot of the helicopter, Augusta 109E helicopter, with registry number RP-C2726 and operated by Malate Tourist Development Corp, was killed on the spot. King died at the hospital were he and other victims were rushed for treatment. Six passengers who were injured from the crash were identified as fashion entrepreneur Tina Ocampo, her husband Ricco, Tatler Philippines editor Anton San Diego, Christopher Chilip, Patricia Chilip, and King’s wife Ling-ling.
