MANILA, Philippines – At around 1.30 a.m, August 7, Executive Secretary Pacquito Ochoa Jr. issued a memorandum approving approving a Pagasa recommendation to suspend work in government offices and classes in college on Tuesday, August 7 due to inclement weather in the following areas:
- NCR
- Zambales province
- Bataan
- Pampanga
- Pangasinan
- Tarlac
- Laguna
- Cavite
- Rizal
- Bulacan
However agencies whose functions involve delivery of basic services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities and or the performance of other vital public services shall continue with their operation, Ochoa said. – Rappler.com
