Rights groups: ISIS adapting suicide bombs for use with chemicals

A joint investigation by human rights groups Conflict Armament Research (CAR) and Sahan Research reveal that ISIS injected chemicals in its weapons against Kurdish forces and civilians in both Iraq and Syria. In a report by CNN, ISIS included chlorine in suicide bombs and other explosive devices and may explore the use of other chemicals as it develops new weapons. This is not the first time the jihadist group used chemicals in warfare, but CAR executive director James Bevan says this is a cause for alarm because it shows ISIS has access to chemical agents and that it continues to experiment with them.
