Indiana Pacers forward Paul George may be the team’s go-to guy these days, but he owes much of his formation as a rookie to former teammate Danny Granger. He says, “I look at Danny as a big brother and a mentor.” George climbed the ranks of the best players in the NBA since being drafted in 2010 and is regarded as a force to be reckoned with. Granger’s performance took a dip since he dealt with a knee injury during the 2012-2013 season and is now traded off to the Detroit Pistons.
