MANILA, Philippines – Filipinos gave the administration of former president Benigno Aquino III  a “very good” net satisfaction rating at the end of its service, pollster Social Weather Stations (SWS) said on Monday, August 15.

The survey results, first published in BusinessWorld, showed 66% of Filipinos  satisfied with the Aquino administration during its final week in office, 17% dissatisfied, and 17% neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, for a net satisfaction rating of +50.

The survey was conducted from June 24 to 27 among 1,200 adults nationwide – 300 each in Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Sampling error margins were at ±3% for national percentages, and ±6% each for the geographical locations, SWS said.

The Aquino administration’s final net rating is 15 points higher than its “good” +35 net rating in April.

It attained its highest-ever net satisfaction rating of +66 in June 2013 – also deemed as “very good,” according to the SWS.

By economic class, the highest – as well as the biggest jump – in net satisfaction with the Aquino administration was among class D or to +51 from +32 in April.

Next was the poorest class E (+50 from +46), and the well-off class ABC (+24 from +17.)

By location, the biggest jump in net satisfaction ratings in the Aquino administration was in the bailiwick of President Rodrigo Duterte, Mindanao (+60 from +33), but the highest level was recorded in the Visayas (+62 from +58).

The Aquino administration obtained higher net satisfaction ratings in the National Capital Region (+32 from +17), and in the Balance of Luzon (+45 from +30).
